Film for glass that manages heat and glare.

Sun film is applied to the inside of the glass to reject heat and UV and reduce glare. Modern films do this while staying light in tone. Rule 100 of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules sets minimum light transmission for car glass, so we only recommend clear, light films chosen to stay above it.

Pune summers heat a parked cabin quickly, and UV fades leather and trim. The right film keeps both in check.

Questions About Sun Film

Is car sun film legal in India?

Rule 100 of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, as amended from 1 April 2021, requires at least 70% visible light transmission through the windscreen and rear window and 50% through the side windows. Dark or black film isn't allowed, and Pune traffic police actively fine tinted glass. How aftermarket film is treated under the amended rule hasn't been settled by the courts nationally, so we only recommend clear, light films and explain the current position before fitting.

Will it affect visibility at night?

Light-toned films reduce heat without noticeably darkening the view.

How much does sun control film cost?

It depends on the film and the car's glass. Pricing is shared on request: message or call us for a quote.
